Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by JS English Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or purchasing any service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services

JS English Limited provides online English language services, including:

  • Language Analysis (a one-off assessment session)

  • Individual English lessons

  • Lesson packages and monthly programmes

  • Additional learning support and materials

All services are delivered online unless agreed otherwise.

3. Language Analysis

The Language Analysis is a paid, standalone service booked via Calendly. It includes:

  • assessment of your current level

  • identification of strengths and weaknesses

  • personalised feedback and recommendations

The fee is non-refundable once the session has been completed.

If you choose to continue with a lesson package, the cost of the Language Analysis (£15) will be deducted from your first payment.

Bookings must be confirmed by payment within 24 hours. If payment is not received within this time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and release the time slot.

Rescheduling requests must be made in advance and are subject to availability.

4. Booking and Payment

All lesson bookings and proposed lesson times remain provisional until full payment has been received. Bookings must be confirmed by payment within 24 hours. If payment is not received within this time, JS English Limited reserves the right to cancel the booking and release the time slot.

Payment is required:

  • before the Language Analysis

  • before the start of any lesson package or monthly programme


5. Ongoing Lessons and Payment

To continue lessons without interruption, payment for the next lesson package must be received no later than 24 hours before the first scheduled lesson of the new package.

If payment is not received by this deadline:

  • lessons may be paused or cancelled

  • the scheduled time slot may be released

Regular lesson time slots are confirmed only after payment. Availability of a specific teacher or lesson time cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received.

6. Lesson Validity

All lesson packages are valid for 6 weeks from the date of the first lesson. Unused lessons after this period will expire and are non-refundable. Students are responsible for scheduling their lessons within the validity period.

Extensions are not guaranteed and may be granted only in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of JS English Limited.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Students may reschedule a lesson with at least 6 hours' notice. Requests made with less than 6 hours' notice may not be accepted, and the lesson may be considered completed.

JS English Limited may offer flexibility in exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion.

8. Missed Lessons

If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson will normally be considered completed and will not be refunded or rescheduled.

In exceptional circumstances, JS English Limited may offer flexibility at its sole discretion.

9. Breaks, Holidays and Schedule Availability

Students may take short breaks, including holidays. However, lesson packages remain valid for 6 weeks from the date of the first lesson.

JS English Limited can hold a regular lesson time slot for up to 2 weeks. If a break exceeds 2 weeks:

  • the reserved time slot may be released

  • the original time cannot be guaranteed upon return

Unused lessons remain subject to the original 6-week validity period, even during a break. Any extension beyond this period is not guaranteed and may be granted only in exceptional circumstances.

Students are responsible for informing JS English Limited about planned breaks in advance.

10. Technical Issues

Students are responsible for having a stable internet connection. JS English Limited is not responsible for missed lessons due to technical issues on the student's side.

If a technical issue occurs on our side, we will offer to reschedule the lesson.

11. Teachers

We may assign a suitable teacher based on your needs. If you feel the teacher is not a good match, we will offer a replacement where possible.

12. Learning Materials

All materials provided remain the property of JS English Limited. They may not be copied, shared, or distributed without permission.

13. Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services in cases of inappropriate, abusive, or disruptive behaviour.

14. Refund Policy

Payments are generally non-refundable. No refunds are provided for:

  • completed sessions

  • missed lessons

  • unused lessons within the validity period

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of JS English Limited. If a refund is granted, it will apply only to unused services.

15. Results Disclaimer

We provide guidance, structure, and support. However, results depend on your effort, consistency, and participation. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, including exam results, job offers, or fluency levels.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
